Uji is located in the suburbs of Kyoto and it's famous as Matcha (green tea) city. 
We can walk along the Uji river, visit Byodouin temple and have maccha. 
If you like, you can have a calligraphy experience, too. 
 

Have you ever heard about Tenjinbashi Shotengai? It's located near by Osaka station but not that touristic place. You can feel real local vibes and have some local snacks like Takoyaki or Dango like locals to Nakanoshima Island where has the art museums, historical buildings and rose garden along the river. 

Enjoy walking in the local market and having local snacks or light meal. Perhaps you can find a real coffee shop in the small allies on the corner. 

Sento (public baths) is  one of Japanese unique habits! Onsen is good but Sento is more common and open in the local communities. And we'll teach its manner and guideline before going for a bath. We can take you to tattoo friendly Sento, too!
